After all is said and done – there is always more said than done…

one of my new favourite quotations. I met this guy from www.actioncoach.com Paul Avins. You should check his stuff out. He has consulted with some heavy weights and I think my small business will really benefit from his expertise.

car reflection

when I came back from my second 1-2-1 internet marketing consulting in London last night, I went to pick up my son from footie and filmed a minute on my Nokia N95.

balance and the wheel of life

you know – I have seen the wheel of life. The areas that make up the whole and here is my perception (up to now)…. I always seem to neglect some area until it needs attention so that I simply can’t help but deal with the situation. here are the areas I am talking about. Health, Fun, Finance, Relationships, Spirituality, Work….

sort your life out

Now according to some you can only live a truely happy life if you focus on all of them on a daily basis. The way I do it at the moment is to really focus on two or three of them until I need to focus on the others.

I have used a file to evaluate how balanced I feel at least once a year and if you want you can download it and check out how balanced you are…. you can download it here. Btw, you might want to add or change the categories to fit your life….

all the best and to your success

…what you wish for….

now that is a bit of a funny story, but it has a very serious message as well.

When I write my journal, I write my future vision and goals and that is all good. I want to tell you an example how exact this science of universal laws and the laws of attraction really are.

I have written the following goal/vision. On my 41st birthday (5th Ocotber) I want to have a minumum of £100,000 in my bank account. Good goal? mmh… wait for this. I have been working on some projects, all of them doing very well, but what I was waiting for was this property project to complete….

Now as it stands, after some turbulent inexplicable occurences, we will finally complete on  – you guessed it – 5th October! and yes, there will be over £100,000 in my bank account, but it’s not all profit…. :-(

so I suppose the goal should have been. Have at least £100,000 pound in after tax profit at the latest by my 41st birthday.

so here is the lesson, be exact and clear about the goals and remember… be careful what you wish for.

I’ll know for next year.

Woes and Worries and Peace of Mind

the mind – the sentry, always ready to warn you and caution you…. wherever you are in the game, there is danger and there are problems…. thanks mind. and once you have made it to the other side, once you have persevered and overcome, he will tell you ‘I told you so. I knew you could do it! what’s the big deal’ and he wants to kill the joy of your achievement… don’t let it dominate you. master it. Learn to control it.  Otherwise there will be no peace.

Early Mornings

I have to say I do owe them…. would I get up a 6 everyday if it wasn’t for the family? maybe not… after all I am into the ‘flow of all things’ theory, meaning get up when you wake up, see what happens, make it up as you go along and so on. so this is to officially acknowledge that I am grateful to be getting up every day at 6, do my meditation with wife and kids and breath the fresh morning air.

if you don’t do it already, give it a try. the day gets longer…

making progress

this weekend was amazing… I have completed yet another secret shortcuts Internet Marketing seminar. I sometimes forget that I did my first one less than a year ago. for anyone out there thinking about getting started… please just do it. I believe most things are appearing a lot more difficult than they actually are – and don’t try to be perfect. I have to say that I work on improving the course everytime, and everytime I am done I improve it again… because I get feedback. without action there is no way you will know what the people are thinking… so get going.

I have to say that although I have been preaching mindset for some years now, I realize more and more that it is the true determining factor for your life’s success.

so after the http://www.secretshortcuts.com event, Shan and I ran the second installment of the www.YourNetworkingClub.com

Over 60 people and having a great time and doing some business is great. we are working on a few new ideas and you will be the first to know….

lastly I wanted to thank Marcus De Maria for his support and the opportunity to speak at his event yesterday.. I means a lot to me to have him support me and believe in me.

lastly lastly I want to share some quotes I picked up last weekend. ‘Experience is what you get just after you needed it’ (Thanks Shan).

Oh, I recorded this little monologue on my Nokia N95.

Value and sincerity

I love both these words. Price is never really a problem if there is value to back it up. How much is a car, a house, a course…? it depends…

We all have this inbuilt valuemeter that cries out when things are off balance. I personally have found that I make the mistake of giving value in the form of my time. I don’t think it’s wrong in itself, but it is not scalable. Only because it is the most precious offering I can make, it doesn’t necessarily equate in value for its recipient. I can see why my mind came up with it. Because I give something important to me, it must be important for the other person as well…

So the challenge will be to create value that is detached from the person, value that can ideally be measured, results in essence.

So what about sincerity then? Jim Rohn so famously says ’sincerity is not a test of truth’ – and I go with that. But sincerity is charming, is charismatic in many cases and it builds trust. We can all do with more sincerity.

Weekend is coming. Workshops and seminars, family time and yoga time. Fleeting moments in a mysterious journey.

to your success

Daniel
